- Administer construction contracts, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, payment certifications, correspondence, and schedule reviews.
- Conduct site reviews and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with contract documents.
- Coordinate meetings, site investigations, commissioning inspections, and project documentation.
- Support the Project Lead with day-to-day design and construction delivery.
What you bring
- 7–10 years of progressive experience on Design-Build, alternative delivery, P3, or major infrastructure projects, with involvement in both design coordination and construction.
- Experience in project engineering, project management, contract administration, or a similar role with a contractor, construction manager, owner, or engineering consultant.
- Knowledge of Design-Build contract administration, including changes, claims, schedule impacts, contract interpretation, and payment certification.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Procore, Primavera, or MS Project is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Aviation project experience is preferred. Candidates with relevant transportation infrastructure experience, including transit or rail, will also be considered. Knowledge of Transport Canada, ICAO, FAA, and airport authority requirements is an asset, as is experience with topographic surveys, geotechnical work, or pavement design.
